How it works
- Add your PDF. The page appears with a box on it.
- Drag the edges of the box, or type the margins in millimetres. Tick "Same crop on every page", or untick it to crop pages differently.
- Press Crop PDF and download the result.
Cut away white margins, a scanner border or a header you do not need. Drag the box on the page, or type how much to cut from each side, and apply it to one page or every page. It is done in your browser.
Files stay on your device. Free, with no sign-up.
Opening the PDF…
Nothing left your device.
A scan with a wide black border, a slide with big margins, a document you want to print with less white around it, or a long screenshot-style page you only need part of. Trimming first makes the page fill the screen or the sheet better.
No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to a server, and you can confirm that in your browser's network tab. Close the tab and they're gone.
No. The cropped area is hidden, not removed: it is still inside the file, and a PDF editor can bring it back. If you are cropping away something private, such as an address, do not rely on this. Remove the page with Remove Pages instead, or black it out with Redact PDF.
Yes, that is the default. The same margins (as a share of each page) are used for every page, even pages of different sizes. Untick "Same crop on every page" to crop pages one by one.
No. Nothing is redrawn: only the visible area of each page changes, so text and pictures stay as sharp as before.
Yes. The box is drawn on the page as you see it, and the crop is applied to match, whether the page is upright, sideways or upside down.
Not directly. Use Unlock PDF on this site to remove the password (you need to know it), then add the unlocked copy here.
Each file can be up to 100 MB, and up to 300 MB in total. Because the work happens on your device, very large files depend on your available memory. A desktop browser handles them best.
