How it works
- Add a photo of the person. A portrait taken in good light works best.
- Zoom in and move the frame until the face is where it should be. The preview shows the real result.
- Press the button, then download the photo and the sheet to print.

Stamp-size photos are about 20 × 25 mm. Because they are small, a 4 × 6 inch sheet holds twenty of them and an A4 sheet about ninety, which is why people print them on a sheet rather than one at a time.
At this size a face is only a few millimetres across, so a close, well-lit portrait matters more than anything else. Zoom in until the head and the shoulders fill the frame.
The size menu also has 25 × 35 mm, 30 × 40 mm, 35 × 45 mm and 2 × 2 inch, and you can type any size between 15 and 100 mm in either direction.
The page works it out from the sheet and the photo size and tells you in the preview. Copies are placed in rows with a small gap, and thin cut lines can be turned on or off.
This tool gets the size, the file size and the layout right. What an office accepts is for that office to say: many ask for a plain light background, a straight face with both ears visible, no shadows, no glasses glare, and a face that fills a set part of the frame. Read the instructions of the form or the notice, and check the preview against them before you submit.
No. It cuts your picture to size and arranges copies; it does not edit what is in the picture. Take the photo standing in front of a plain light wall, in even daylight, and the background will be right from the start.
Open the sheet and print it at 100% or "actual size", with "fit to page" turned off, on the paper size you chose. A photo shop can print the file the same way: ask for it at actual size with no cropping. Cut along the thin grey lines.
No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to a server, and you can confirm that in your browser's network tab. Close the tab and they're gone.
Each file can be up to 100 MB, and up to 300 MB in total. Because the work happens on your device, very large files depend on your available memory. A desktop browser handles them best.
