How it works
- Add your JPG images.
- Press the button.
- Download your PNG files (several arrive as a ZIP).
Turn JPG images into PNG files for editing or for tools that insist on PNG. The conversion runs on your device, so your photos stay private.
Files stay on your device. Free, with no sign-up.

PNG is lossless, so saving as PNG means further edits will not lose quality each time you save. It is also the format some design tools, print services and upload forms ask for.
Keep expectations realistic: converting does not bring back detail that JPG compression already removed, and PNG files are usually much larger than the JPG they came from.
No. The picture looks the same, because the detail lost when it was saved as JPG cannot be recovered. What you gain is that PNG will not lose any more quality when edited and saved again.
PNG stores every pixel exactly, without the lossy compression that keeps JPG small. Photos in particular grow a lot. If size matters, keep the JPG or try WebP.
No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to a server, and you can confirm that in your browser's network tab. Close the tab and they're gone.
Yes. Add as many as you like (up to 50). Each one is processed on its own, and you download them together as a ZIP.
Each file can be up to 100 MB, and up to 300 MB in total. Because the work happens on your device, very large files depend on your available memory. A desktop browser handles them best.
